POPIA Compliance & Governance
Cereniti (Pty) Ltd operates as a "Responsible Party" as defined by the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Our governance structure is designed to exceed the statutory requirements of the South African Information Regulator.
In the luxury home care sector, data is not just bits and bytes; it is the keys to your sanctuary. We recognize that our business model requires the processing of highly confidential information, from architectural layouts to lifestyle rhythms. We process this data only where a lawful basis exists—specifically for the fulfillment of our service contract and the legitimate protection of your property.
The Digital Twin: Data Collection
We collect information to build a "Service Profile" that ensures every Ritual is executed with surgical precision.
Member Data
- Geo-Spatial Data: Millimeter-accurate GPS for logistics.
- Access Tokens: Encrypted gate codes and biometric overrides.
- Preference Mapping: Room priorities and chemical sensitivities.
- Visual Documentation: High-resolution property state evidence.
Specialist Data
- Identity Governance: Certified ID and KYC documentation.
- Integrity Vetting: Independent criminal record and credit checks.
- Performance Telemetry: On-site duration and movement heatmaps.
- Financial Nodes: Bank verification for settlement.
Processing of Special Information
Under Section 26 of POPIA, the processing of "Special Personal Information" (such as criminal behavior) is strictly prohibited unless specific conditions are met.
The Vetting Mandate
To ensure the sanctity of the Member's home, Cereniti processes criminal record data for all Specialists. This is a non-negotiable prerequisite for Guild Membership, performed under the legal basis of protecting the vital interests of our Members.
Intelligence & Machine Learning
Data powers the Cereniti Intelligence Engine. We utilize your data to refine our dynamic pricing models and logistical routing.
Anonymized Computer Vision: We use metadata from property photos to train our AI for quality control. All identifiable features (faces, family portraits, personal documents) are algorithmically scrubbed before entering our training set.
Logistics Optimization: Your GPS data is aggregated to reduce the carbon footprint of our Specialist Shuttles.
The Experience Ecosystem
To facilitate the "Displacement Protocol" (where you enjoy a luxury experience while we clean), limited data is shared with our **Signature Experience Partners**.
The Data Minimization Principle
We share only your name and reservation reference with partner spas, vineyards, or restaurants. Your home address, financial history, and security protocols are never exposed to these third-party entities.
Zero-Knowledge Security Architecture
Cereniti utilizes a proprietary "Just-In-Time" decryption architecture for property access.
Geo-Fenced Decryption
Access codes are only decrypted and revealed to a Specialist's device when our GPS telemetry confirms they are within 100 meters of the property.
Ephemeral Storage
Once a job is marked 'Complete', all access codes are purged from the Specialist's local device cache immediately.
End-to-End Encryption
All data in transit is secured using AES-256 encryption, the global standard for financial and military communications.
Data Retention & Destruction
We do not believe in data hoarding. Personal information is retained only for the duration required to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Protocol.
